‘Cool’ app on stolen iPhone sends picture back to owner!

Cool iPhone app

A woman in the UK has unwittingly taken her own picture as she attempted to unlock a stolen Apple iPhone.

Thanks to the new 'cool' mobile app that automatically sent the image to the owner who called the police.

According to the police, the arrest was made possible with the help of the new app that takes a picture of anyone who tries to unlock the phone, maps their location and then sends the information to the owner in an email.

The phone was stolen from the Coalition nightclub in Brighton, East Sussex, earlier this month, Sky News reports.

According to the report, police said they do not know whether the woman pictured was responsible for the theft, but they appealed for her or anyone who recognises her to contact them.
