3 injured in another fire

At least three persons were seriously injured when a fire broke out in a camp of Sector-9 in Kumbh Mela area on Saturday. The fire broke out following leakage of cooking gas from a cylinder, officials said. Even as it was raining, the fire spread quickly due to the presence of polythene and some other inflammable material in the camp. A few of the neighbouring camps were also gutted. The fire was brought under control in about half-an-hour. The injured were admitted at Swaroop Rani Nehru (SRN) Hospital with serious burn injuries. Meanwhile, the death toll in the Sunday's stampede at the Allahabad railway station on Mauni Amavasya rose to 38, with yet another person succumbing to his injuries at SRN Hospital on Saturday.
