8 years and counting, policemen cannot move into 877 flats

The DDA, however, passed the buck to Delhi Jal Board. A DDA official said, "We have told Delhi Jal Board (DJB) to provide drinking water facility to these flats, but they keep pushing the date. As for the sewage system, we have laid the internal pipes, but we do have the land for disposing the waste. We require a main outlet to dump the waste. We are looking into the matter." he said.

"We supply water through tankers and sewage disposal is done through sucking machines whenever required," he said.

"From Rohini Sector 19 onwards, we have not taken over from DDA. So water and waste water management is still their responsibility. We only supply water in bulk, which is to be managed by DDA," DJB CEO Debashree Mukherjee said.
