Akshay to play a Hollywood stuntman
Sajid Nadiadwala has appointed the casting directors of Entourage, a popular reality show in the US, for his forthcoming movie. Nadiadwala has roped in Susan Paley Abramson and Justine Hempe as the casting agents for his venture Kambakth Ishq. The film, starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in the lead, is to be shot extensively in Hollywood in Los Angeles. According to Sajid, Akshay plays a Hollywood stuntman in the film. Hence talks are on with Hollywood action hero and current California Governor Arnold Schwazzenegar for a role in the movie.

Eros to release Dhoom Dhadaka worldwide
Eros International will release Shashi Ranjan's Dhoom Dhadaka worldwide on May 23. An Indo-Pak co-production, it is being produced by Shashi Ranjan along with Syma Khan from Pakistan. Directed by Shashi Ranjan, the film is a comedy shot mostly in Bangkok. It stars Anupam Kher, Satish Shah and Satish Kaushik besides Shaad Randhawa, Aarti Chhabria, Sammir Dattani and Shama Sikandar. Gulshan Grover, Jackie Shroff, Dipsshikha, Razzak Khan, Bhawana Balsavar, Bobby Darling and Zac, a young actor from Pakistan play supportive roles.

Bhagnani, David Dhawan's next film to roll soon
Producer Vashu Bhagnani and director David Dhawan's next film together starring Govinda, Riteish Deshmukh, Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta will go on floors in June. The production house is currently finalising the outdoor locations for the shooting of the film and will commence shooting from June onwards. Earlier, Dhawan, Govinda and Dutta teamed up in the 2007 hit Partner.

Amy Thanawala turns director with Suno Na
Amy Thanawala, erstwhile assistant to Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Khamoshi and to John Matthew Matthan in Sarfarosh makes her directorial debut with Suno Na, being made under the banner of Cinema-Kollage. The film now complete and being readied for early release revolves around an unwed mother who spurned by her lover decides to commit suicide. But later she decides to give birth to the child and start a new life. The film takes a humorous turn when the mother and the child in the womb start talking to each other and even sing a duet. The child wants to know many things, including about her father. The story also revolves around three men who come in her life during these nine months. Tara Sharma plays the leading role with Dharmendra Gohil, Makrand Shukla, Avinash Tiwary, Rinku Patel, Rajendra Chawla and others. Written by Amy Thanawala herself, the film has cinematography by Dhananjay Kulkarni, music by Sanjay Chowdhury, lyrics by Yogesh, art by Chaukas Bhardwaj and editing by Naren Mojidra.
