Amrita Rao is all set to play an ambitious news reporter in Anil Sharma's Singh Saab The Great, a social drama which focuses on the current issues of our society. It's a role after her heart and Rao who is presently in Bhopal where she has just started shooting for the film, is leaving no stone unturned to see that she plays the part to perfection. "I am this ambitious girl on the run and to make sure I get the nuances of the character right I have been attending workshops to get the language and mannerisms of her profession right. Besides, I have been watching a lot of news channels, especially the regional ones as I play a Hindi journalist," says the actress who will be seen in casual attire like kurtis, jeans, skirts and trousers and sport straight hair.
Rao is also looking forward to Jolly LLB which is slated to release early next year.
Tena Desae's Hollywood debut nominated for Golden Globe Awards
Tena Desae's Hollywood debut in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel has been nominated for Golden Globe Award in the 'Best Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy category.'
Desae, who co-starred with actors like Judi Dench and Maggie Smith, says, "I'm thrilled that the film has been nominated for the Golden Globes, SAG and Critics Choice Awards. They're respected awards and a nomination is supremely exciting. The competition is tough and has some truly fantastic films this year, which makes the nomination all the more incredible." Meanwhile, the actress gears up for Rajeev Khandelwal and Paresh Rawal co-starrer Table No.21 that releases on January 4.
