Bharat Jadhav launches production house website

After a two-decade acting career in Marathi films, TV and theatre actor, Bharat Jadhav has now taken on a new role. He recently launched a production house called Bharat Jadhav Entertainment which was inaugurated by his wife Sarita Jadhav. A website was also launched.The company, Bharat Jadhav Entertainment will be accessible to other actors and producers as well and will also handle the promotions of most of the upcoming Marathi feature films.

Along with Bharat Jadhav, Australia-based International Marketing Consultant and businessman Vikas Kore, the founder of Bizcat Solutions, who holds profound expertise in the domain of International Marketing shall be working as the Managing Director of the company while Ganesh Gargote, the founder of Media One Consultants, shall be responsible for the public relations and publicity of this company. The company shall function through its three offices located in Mumbai, Pune and Sydney (Australia).

Bharat Jadhav Entertainment also plans to launch a wide variety of International events along with Marathi films and TV serials.

Film city to come up in Goa in next three years

A film city would come up in Goa in the next three years, the state government said recently. "We are planning a film city in Goa. Last year we could not start the work because of the economic crisis faced by the state," said Vishnu Wagh, Vice Chairman, Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), a state government agency.

Wagh was speaking at concluding ceremony of the 6th Goa Marathi Film Festival in Panaji on June 29. "It is a commitment of ESG on behalf of Goa government that the state will have a film city within 3-4 years," he said, in the presence of Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar. The objective was to turn Goa into a prime film production centre, he said. The three-day festival ended on June 30 with the premier of the film Postcard, directed by Gajendra Ahire.
