Female drivers never claim responsibility for road accidents

A recent study has found that female drivers refuse to take responsibility after a crash and have a number of excuses to offer rather than hold their hands up.
Insurance company Young Marmalade, which carried out the research for Halfords, found that eight out of ten women involved in a car crash denied it was their fault and looked for something or someone else to blame, the Daily Mail reported.
It also found that 78 per cent of women involved in a car crash said they weren't to blame, and when asked about the cause of the accident came up with more excuses for what went wrong.
Out of the 2,000 motorists polled, almost 19 per cent women claimed that there was a problem with their car while 31 per cent blamed factors outside of their control, such as the other driver, an obstruction in the road or the weather.
The study also found that "an angry squirrel threw a nut" topped the list of excuses used by women during road accidents, while "a moth flew into my eye" came in second.
"My car was legally parked as it backed into the other vehicle", "An invisible car came out of nowhere, struck my car and vanished" and "I collided with a stationary tree" rounded the top five excuses.
