Ferguson urges Wayne Rooney to find ‘scoring boots’

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson wants Wayne Rooney to reinvent his scoring form and score more goals for the teams.

The England striker has scored just three goals in 14 games but has six assists.

"I'm happy with that part of his game, fine. It's no problem for me," the Sun quoted Ferguson, as saying.

"He can contribute to the team's success fine but we would rather he scored more, obviously," he added.

United would face Reading in a Premier League encounter on Saturday.
