First impression is not the last
Friends are pillars of strength.
However, as each coin has two sides, friendship too has drawbacks. There can be misconceptions and misunderstandings.
In some cases, these misconceptions hamper friendship. No one in this world has escaped misconceptions. A couple of months ago, we had a camp at Silvassa. During campfire at night, I was surprised to know that antagonists had filled the ears of my friends with terrible misconceptions.
I was astonished to know my friends considered me a grumpy, rude person. They said I was rude to a boy who tried to act smart that morning.
I clarified. I said I am a straightforward person. I believe in 'tit for tat'.
If people are nice to me, I am nice to them. But if someone mistreats me, I hit back.
I don't copy in exams, nor do I condone the act. My friends expect me to share answers, but I refuse. That's why they think I am mean person who does not share knowledge. But that's not true.
The fact is copying can lead to suspension. When I tell friends this, they call me a coward.
Actually, they don't understand copying may give them a degree, not knowledge.

A misconception is a belief, view, or opinion, usually widely held, that is incorrect. Many people have had misconceptions about me. In school, people who don't know me well think I'm a "spoiled rich kid".
People always assume I am a mean, judgmental and snobbish girl who boats of money, status, etc.
In reality, I am just the opposite.
Sometimes when my dad would come to pick us — my siblings and me — up from school, people would make rude comments. They would question how he could afford a particular vehicle and such.
