Former CM’s grandsons train guns on Cong, call to overthrow Hooda govt
The members of the Devi Lal, including two of his great-grandsons, Friday took on the ruling Congress as the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) launched its month-long 'Pol Khol' (expose) campaign against the ruling party in Haryana.
Even as Senior INLD leader Abhay Singh Chautala called upon the people of Haryana to uproot the "most corrupt government ever" in the state as well as at the Centre, his elder son Karan tested his public oratory skills during public meetings in villages in Sirsa. Karan accused the Congress of using the CBI for falsely implicating his grandfather and former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala, uncle Ajay and others in Junior Basic Training (JBT) teachers recruitment scam.
Ajay's elder son, Dushyant, too held public meetings in more than a dozen villages in Uchana kalan Assembly constituency of Jind and appealed the people to dethrone the Congress from the power.
Meanwhile, addressing a rally at Panchkula, Abhay, INLD MLA from Ellenabad, claimed that "the truth will prevail and soon conspiracy of Congress will be exposed."
"We will prove that Congress and CBI had planned a conspiracy to send INLD leaders to jail," Chautala said, daring Hooda for an open debate to prove that he was not involved in the conspiracy.
"After the conspiracy of sending INLD leaders behind bars, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda is now holding meetings of his MLAs, who are spreading misleading information about INLD leaders to washout the blot," Chautala said. He said, "Instead of holding meetings for planning strategy to tarnish the image of INLD leaders, the chief minister should focus on deteriorating law and order, developmental project and development of the state."
Speaking on the occasion, INLD state unit chief Ashok Arora said the track record of the Congress shows it has misused the CBI to suppress the voice of the leaders of regional parties.
