Former MD of labour body says paid kickbacks to BSP ministers

Former managing director of the Labour and Construction Co-operative Federation B P Singh has reportedly told interrogators that he paid kickbacks to several former ministers in the Mayawati regime.

Singh, who was arrested Wednesday, was produced in a Lucknow court, which sent him to judicial custody.

The chief of the police's co-operative cell Suvrat Tripathi said Singh claimed to have bribed several former ministers including Badshah Singh, Awadhpal Singh Yadav, Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi', Chandradev Ram Yadav, Anees Ahmed, Rangnath Mishra and Babu SIngh Kushwaha to get construction projects for the agency.
