Mumbai Indians, after registering an emphatic win over Royal Challengers Bangalore, take on Adam Gilchrist-led Kings XI Punjab in the IPL 2013 match in Mumbai today.

There is not much separating the two sides, at least in the points table. With a difference of just one win, both Mumbai and Punjab need a consistent run to secure a play-offs berth.

The points table, especially after the games today, is expected to shuffle and give some sort of clarity. It promises to be a cracker of a contest amid sides looking to cement their position in a comfortable slot in the points table.

Bhangnam style!

Harbhajan Singh tosses one up, gets enough turn, lures Chris Gayle into a big shot, who miscues it into the hands of the fielder, and the Bhangnam --Gangnam with a pinch of desi bhangra -- begins.

After removing Gayle early in their last fixture, Harbhajan looked a different bowler. He was not rushing with his deliveries and tossed the ball on a consistent basis. The follow through was in place and the Turbanator enjoyed his cricket in the middle. Harbhajan is one such bowler, who, after picking a wicket early in his spell, can dominate proceedings. With his off-spinners, the surprising doosra, the top-spinner and the slider which holds its line, he, when in full flow, is a difficult bowler to score runs against.

Kings XI Punjab have always used the Aussie experience to full effect. May it be the consistent Shaun Marsh or the dynamic Adam Gilchrist, the team definitely has an Australia connection. This year, two Davids -- David Hussey and David Miller -- are running the show for this franchise. Miller, in particular, is looking very good with the bat, and has all the ingredients to dictate terms in the middle. Hussey, too, is holding the middle-order together, which is fragile and can succumb under pressure.
