What do you do when your 'jodi' breaks? Why, turn into a professional 'jodi'-breaker, helping unhappy couples find a solution, for a consideration. Sid (Madhavan) and Sonali (Basu) test their skills in that direction and go along swimmingly until they hit a roadblock in the form of true love. Or what passes for it these days.

'Jodi Breakers' may have started with an idea suited to light-weight rom coms, but despite a few flourishes, it stays firmly bird-brained. Basu is svelte, strictly, and Helen is still graceful, but she should now decline screechy speaking parts. The only reason you stay is Madhavan, who is so much better than the film, but who is also deluded into thinking that this might be his break into single lead-dom in Bollywood. Alas.
