Juhi murder: Delhi HC grants Kundra transit bail

Anushree Kundra, the 30-year-old suspect in the Juhi Prasad murder case, has been granted transit bail after she approached the Delhi High Court for anticipatory bail, Pune police said on Saturday. She has been asked to approach a competent court within three days.

Kundra had allegedly set on fire her ex-boyfriend Nimesh Sinha (27) and his fiancée Juhi Prasad (26) at an apartment in Wanawadi on October 13 following which Prasad had died of burn injuries. Kundra had been on the run since then.

Rajesh Bansode, deputy commissioner of police (crime) said that after Kundra approached the Delhi High Court through her lawyer, the court granted her transit bail for three days which means she has to approach a competent court for her bail application.
