12th Plan: BJP seeks House discussion

NEW DELHI: BJP on Friday criticised the government for not keeping Parliament in the loop over the 12th Five-Year Plan that was approved by the NDC on Thursday.

"It has been our demand that the 12th Plan be discussed in Parliament. The unfortunate part, however, is that the government did not think it fit to discuss it in Parliament," said BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar. "The government could have moved a resolution (for discussion). The Business Advisory Committee could have decided."
