JHAJJAR: A 20-year-old was on Sunday night allegedly raped by two youths at Barahi road in Bahadurgarh town, located on the Delhi-Haryana border, around 45 km from here, the police said here on Monday. The police have arrested the accused, identified as Anil of Barahi village and Subhash of Bullaheri village, after registering a case of rape against them on the complaint of the victim. In her complaint, the victim said the accused allegedly abducted her in a car when she was on a stroll at a park located adjacent to her house in Sector-6 at Bahadurgarh. The accused took her to an isolated place on the Barahi road and allegedly raped her.

hassan: One person has been arrested for allegedly raping a 13-year-old school girl at Kattaya village in Hassan district, the police said on Monday. Rangaraju, who was absconding after the incident on December 18, was arrested Monday. The accused took the student on his motorcycle following her mother's request to drop her at the school and raped her, the police said.

new delhi: The Army has issued advisories to its formations and units to avoid holding celebrations or parties on New Year's eve, given the sense of the nation after the death of the Delhi gangrape victim. Defence Minister A K Antony will, as usual, have a quite New Year. The minister, whose birthday falls on December 28, had even refused to accept greetings on the day in the backdrop of the incident.
