Nothing wrong in my brotherís business deals: Maya

"Shinde holds an important position in the government and the issue relates to his department. He should have made the statement based on the facts available to him, which he did not. He acted in haste which is not correct," said Mayawati, adding that Hindus are "very agitated and very angry" over the remarks. She also sought to remind Shinde that the cases which are believed to be the basis of his remarks are still pending in courts. "If he had actual facts, he should have presented those before the courts and allowed them to take a decision. Several cases related to terrorism are pending before courts... It would have been better if he had not raised the issue and left it to the courts," she said.
