The BJP central unit on Saturday gave Rs 5 lakh to the family of the 23-year-old Delhi gangrape victim's family and promised them legal help in the case. BJP's Delhi state president Vijender Gupta met the victim's family at their native village in Ballia district and gave them a cheque of Rs 5 lakh as financial assistance. Gupta said the party has also planned to rename a municipal school in Delhi on the real name of the rape victim. "I have talked to victim's family in this regard. But we will have to wait till the legal issues are settled on disclosure of the rape victim's name," Gupta said.
