Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will hold talks with PCC presidents and CLP leaders in the national capital on February 15.

"He (Rahul) will meet the Pradesh Congress Presidents and Congress Legislature Party leaders here on February 15," AICC general secretary Janardhan Dwivedi said.

This comes after Rahul held three rounds of consultations with AICC office bearers after becoming the party's vice-president.

In the meetings, the Congress leader would apprise himself of the various problems being faced by the party in various states to understand the steps needed to tone up the organisations there.

During his recent interactions with partymen, Rahul has stressed on going by the rulebook and the need for "emotional unity" among Congressmen.

The Congress vice-president had also expressed his keenness to have such discussions from block to state level.

Though Congress is in power in a dozen odd states, Andhra Pradesh is the only major state where it has a government on its own. The party is out of power in major states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu for several years.

In West Bengal, Congress was out of power for more than three decades though it was in the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government for a brief while.
