Rolling Tigers’ skaters shine at CBSE Nationals

Panchkula:The skaters of Rolling Tigers returned with a rich haul of ten medals in the CBSE Skating national championship held at DAV School in Amritsar from November 18 to 21. The medal winners are:

Under 10 Quads boys: Aditya Dabas (silver in Road Race), Pranay Gaud (bronze in Road Race); Under 10 girls Quads: Vidushi Rawat (gold in Road Race, bronze in Rink Race 2); Under 12 boys Quads: Saksham Bansal (bronze in Road Race and bronze in Rink Race 1); Sanyam Gupta (silver in Road Race); Under 14 Quads girls : Manvi Goyal (bronze in Rink Race 1), Under- 16 Inline girls: Chhavi Bishnoi (bronze in Rink Race 1 and bronze in Rink Race 2)

City sepak takraw team for Nationals announced

Chandigarh:The 10-member Chandigarh sepak takraw team for the National sepak takraw championship, to be held at Hyderabad from November 23 to 26, has been announced. The team members are:

Boys: Ishant Singh, Himanshu Binjola, Vivek Singh, Shubham Rawat, Harjinder Singh

Girls: Devyani Sharma, Harnoor Kaur, Neha Sharma, Arifa Parveen, Stanzin Dazes.

Hardik's captain knock steers Satluj Stunners to victory

Panchkula:Hardik Choudhary played a captain's knock of unbeaten 71 runs as Satluj Stunners Cricket Academy A team thrashed Little Flower Convent School, Sector 14, Chandigarh by 125 runs in the first league match of the Under-13 Satluj Winter Premier League cricket tournament being held at Satluj Public School ground in Sector 4 on Friday. Satluj Stunners batted first and put on 204 for 4 in the stipulated 25 overs. Hardik was in good touch and smashed seven boundaries in his 58 ball knock. Openers Shravan Sharma and Prabhjit Singh scored identical 38 runs. In reply, Little Flower were bowled out for 80 in 16.3 overs. Jatin top scored with 31 runs. Ritik Thakur bagged three wickets for the winning team. In the second match, Doon Cricket Academy, Sector 21, Panchkula outplayed Satluj Cricket Academy B team by seven wickets. Satluj batted first and were all out for 24 runs in seven overs. Doon Academy replied with 27 for 3 in 8.2 overs.
