Panchkula:Guided by Saurav's superlative knock of 76 runs, Satluj Stunners overpowered St Stephen's Champions in the final match of the Satluj Premier League held at Satluj Public School, Sector 4, Panchkula on Friday. Batting first, St Stephen's posted a total of 171 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 30 overs. Saksham made 87 runs to propel Stephen's team. For Satluj Stunners, Sahil Vashisht (3 for 23) and Mandeep Bhardwaj (2 for 31). In reply, Satluj Stunners got to the target in 21.5 overs at the loss of one wicket. Saurav led the Satluj's fightback. He was ably supported by Harshit who made 59 runs.

Eight players get wild cards
Chandigarh:A total of eight players (Six boys and two girls) have been handed out wild cards in the qualifying round in the ITF Junior Circuit Grade 3 Tennis Tournament to be played at CLTA Courts from today. Tejas Kapoor, Dhruv Pal, Ankush Arora, Dhruv Pal (AITA), Pranav Suri, Sultan Singh Atwal and Rahul Seth (CLTA) have been given wild cards in the boys' category while Nandini Sharma and Aastha Malhotra (CLTA) have been give wild cards in the girls' category. In the main draw, Vikas Berwal, Sachin Kumar (AITA), Ranjeet Singh and Digvijay Singh Naruka (CLTA) have been given wild cards in the boys' category while Isha Budwal, Aayushree Bildhaiya (AITA), Bhavya Wadhawan and Gayatri Kumariah have been given wild cards in the girls' category.
Yadav to release logo today
Chandigarh:Capt. Ajay Singh Yadav, Forest and Environment Minister, Haryana will release the logo of the 20th All India Forest Sport Meet at the conference hall, Haryana Niwas, Sector 3 at 11.30 am today. The Haryana Forest Department will host the 20th All India Forest Sport Meet from February 8 to February 12. A total of 2200 participants from various states and Forest Departments will take part in the event.
