To produce the inimitable is the axiom of Maxfort School Rohini. We, the Maxfortians, believe in celebrating life king size. Our annual day production 'Aaj ka Abhimanyu' is an affirmation of this. students put up a dynamic show for parents and well-wishers at the Siri Fort Auditorium on December 25. Renowned ventriloquist Rajkumar Javaker aka Raja Rancho was the chief guest. The torchbearer of Maxfort fraternity, executive directors Gurpreet Singh Sachdeva and his wife were also present. Principal Ragini Kaul also spoke on the occasion.
IPSC principals' conclave at DPS, R K Puram
Delhi Public School, R K Puram, hosted the 73rd IPSC Principals' Conclave from January 4 to 6. It was attended by principals from 75 member-schools. The theme of the conclave was 'Building Ethical Leadership'. The chief guest was Cabinet Secretary Ajit Seth and the function was presided over by Ashok Chandra, chairman of the DPS Society. Suniti Sharma, chairperson of the IPSC, Sumer Singh, honorary secretary of the IPSC, Stewart Beck, Canadian High Commissioner, and B K Sood, member of the IPSC Trust, also graced the occasion. The opening ceremony saw a performance by the Indian music orchestra of DPS, R K Puram. The guests were welcomed by Principal Dr D R Saini.
Ramjas School, Pusa Road conducts an art camp
Ramjas School, Pusa Road, organised a three-day art camp in the school. Since its inception in 2007, the camp has been providing students with an opportunity to interact , witness and work with professional artists. A brain child of Shubhra Gupta, manager of the school, the camp is an attempt to enable students to learn about new techniques and artforms besides inculcating aesthetic values.This year, a team of two students and a teacher from many Delhi schools participated in the camp. Six eminent artists led the camp. It culminated in an art exhibition where children displayed their work .
