Annual winter carnival at Bal Bharati Public School

Bal Bharati Public School, GRH Marg, held its annual winter carnival on December 23. It was a day of fun, frolic and enjoyment.

Enhancing the air of festivity were live performances by the school band, Megahertz and the dance group,Spunk.

K K Khullar, president, CES, and chairman, managing committee, BBPS, GRH Marg, released the Souvenir 2012 in the presence of J C Ajmani, secretary (manager) of the school and executive director, CES; L V Sehgal, principal of the school;

S K Bhattacharya, former principal of the school and advisor, CES; Rekha Sharma, BBPS, Rohini; and Meenu Goswami, principal, BBPS, Dwarka. Addressing the audience, Khullar emphasised that we must make efforts to become better human beings with each passing day. Nina Sahni, advisor, CES; N Rekhi, principal, NTTI, and principals of different branches of Bal Bharati Public School too graced the occasion.

Australian delegation at Springdales School

Springdales School, Pusa Road, hosted a nine- member delegation of Australian principals from Victoria, New South Wales and North Territory under the aegis of the Asian Education Foundation, Government of Australia, for an annual interaction between school teachers from India and Australia.

The session began with a traditional welcome followed by an overview on 'Aspects of Social Diversity in the Country' by Nirmalaya Samanta, Associate Professor, Department of English, Delhi University, who also spoke on the achievements and pioneering efforts of the school under the able guidance of Ameeta Mulla Wattal, principal, Springdales School, Pusa Road.

Fete at Abhinav Public School, Pitampura

BIZANGO BLAST 2013 was organised at Abhinav Public School on January 12. It was inaugurated by the chairman of the school, Dr K K Bansal. There was a steady flow of visitors, students, parents and guests. There were a number of stalls of games, music and eateries. Each one was trying to outdo the other. The games ó topping the coin, hitting the tin, estimating the peapods, making pairs, guessing the right bottle, and many more kept the gathering enthralled. The refreshment stall attracted a huge crowd with their mouth-watering items. The bouncy, elephant ride and train rides for toddlers were the very popular among the little ones. The music request played by the school band was another star attraction of the fete. The proceeds from the fete would be contributed for the benefit of the underprivileged. The entire event helped spread the true spirit of Bizango Blast.
