He asked the Government to implement the recommendations of Sachar Committee and Ranganath Misra Commission to improve the condition of Muslims in the country.

"Reservation is required for uplift of Muslims who are the most neglected section in the country. Their condition is worse than Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes," he said.

Yadav alleged that farmers of the country are facing a lot of problems due to the wrong policies of the government.

"Farmers are the most neglected section. Government has not given any major relief to the farmers. They are dying of starvation while food grains are rotting in godowns," he said.

The veteran parliamentarian also demanded scrapping of the MNREGA scheme alleging that loot is taking place in states in the name of rural job scheme.

"MNREGA is the root of corruption in the country. The scheme is being misused. Scarp MNREGA. It has been a loot. It is of no use," Yadav said, adding officials are "siphoning off" money meant for providing rural job.

On foreign policy, he said, "China can never be a friend to India". He said China is constructing roads in borders and they are increasing their presence in Nepal which is a "cultural partner" of India.

Speaking on internal security, Yadav said a separate "internal security cell" should be established to look into the problems like terrorism.

Referring to the Delhi gang-rape incident, Yadav said the existing law should be strengthened to punish the culprits of the heinous crime.
