Tech contests dominate PEC fest Day 2

The second day of the three-days' long technical fest, VYOM 2013, of the Punjab Engineering College (PEC) University of Technology on Saturday witnessed huge footfall.

The day began with the general technical quiz, Omniquest.

The second day featured some highly entertaining game and fun events such as 'Vellapanti', a national open and crime scene investigations.

Students went into detail about various workshops such as the Android Workshop, Ethical Hacking, and the Sixth Sense Workshop.

Similarly students crossed swords in the event Patent Wars as they fought to defend their own companies in the competition and attack another company for patent infringement.

In the Seagulls event, participants flew RC aircrafts and performed a variety of acrobatic events.

In Junkyard Wars, robots fought each other to rule the ring.

Techolympics was another very well-attended event.

The Tech Mahautsav and Metal-Mate exhibitions were also very well received by all the attendees at the fest.

The day ended with the much awaited mega show - the famous play, Copenhagen - which enthralled the audience.

The final day of the PEC technology fest event promises to be as fun filled and more knowledgeable than even the events of the previous days, and they will constain a special emphasis on the standup comedian 'Rivaldo'.
