Toshiba launches 18 new laptops, prices start Rs 24,730

Toshiba India has recently announced a new line-up of 18 Satellite Series laptops. The devices will be categorised into the P Series with HD & Full HD displays, featuring harman/kardon speakers and HDMI 4K output for all round high definition performance; the C Series with stylish looks and performance; the L series aimed at the youth with Onkyo speakers and the S Series with a unique metallic build. There will also be a Satellite U40 series of light, but high performance devices.

The Satellite P series will have a 15.6-inch screen and feature a High Quality Smart Silver finish with a premium aluminium chassis. The model with 4th Gen Intel Core i5-4200U 1.6 GHz processor will be priced at Rs 63,375, while the Core  i7-4500U Processor 1.8 GHz with turbo boost technology 2.0 up to 3.00 GHz model will cost Rs 76,660. Equipped with 4GB DDR3 and 8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM (expandable up to 16GB) respectively, both Satellite P series models will have a 1TB hard drive.

The Satellite C Series will offer high performance at affordable prices and will cost between Rs 24,730 and Rs 45,160. Aimed at the youth, the Satellite L Series will priced between Rs 42,575/- and Rs 53,710 depending on the configuration. The Satellite S Series, on the other hand, are aimed at those who need high performance devices and will feature top-end Intel Core processors.

The Satellite U series, priced between Rs 45,835 and Rs 51,910, will feature devices that are compact but powerful.
