Trinamool rebuffs GJM offer of support, sees rivals’ plot

The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha's announcement that it will support the Trinamool-Congress alliance in Siliguri and Dooars in the Assembly polls, have put the Trinamool in a tizzy. Trinamool leader Mukul Roy on Friday said, "The GJM's decision is totally uncalled for as there were no prior talks between the two parties in this regard." Trinamool's arch-rival CPM has swiftly seized the GJM's announcement to label Trinamool as supporter of separtists. "The Trinamool Congress has nexus with all separatist forces — the Maoists in Junglemahal and the GJM in the Darjeeling hills," said CPM leader and Health Minister Surjya Kanta Mishra earlier in the day. Trinamool termed it a gameplan by BJP and CPM.
