Viagra saves girl child's life

Kid

A baby girl, who was born with multiple complex heart defects and is kept alive thanks to daily doses of Viagra, took her first steps two months ago.

Cerys Small has to take the anti-impotence drug every day to get the blood pumping around her body.

The 19-month-old toddler, who was born with a hole in her heart has a spoonful of liquid Viagra with her breakfast, dinner and tea.

Heart specialists hope to eventually wean her off Viagra - most commonly used for treating sexual dysfunction in men - which helps her blood circulate around her body more easily.
