Bharti Airtel and Opera Software announced the launch of Opera Web Pass for customers in India on Tuesday. Opera Web Pass allows users access to pay-as-you-go services on their phones. For this, Airtel subscribers need to download and install Opera Mini, one of the most popular mobile phone browsers. On the browser, the start page has a link to Opera Web Pass, which will show users the plans available. Users can purchase Internet access packs using the service. Available packs include 24-hour data usage or browsing over the weekend. Users without data plans can now easily purchase Internet packs, using this service.
