The mortal remains of former Union Minister Arun Nehru, who died here last night, were consigned to flames here today in the presence of his relatives, including family of his cousin Rajiv Gandhi, and a host of leaders. Priyanka Gandhi's son Rehan lit the pyre. A host of dignitaries, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Robert Vadra and Union Minister Farooq Abdullah were present at the Lodhi Road crematorium.
