IAF chopper makes emergency landing in Chattisgarh

An IAF helicopter, which was on a rescue mission to evacuate an injured CRPF jawan and the body of another, was forced to make an emergency landing in a field in the densely-forested Sukma district of Chhattisgarh after it came under fire from Maoists. Mukesh Gupta, additional director general of police (ADGP) of the state, said that one policeman was killed and two were injured in a gun battle with rebels in Chhattisgarh. The chopper was found at Teliwara in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh.
